Letchworth: Howard Park Splash Park and kiosk set to re-open very soon - find out exactly when

The splash park in Letchworth's Howard Park Gardens, as well as the café kiosk, are due to open every day, from 10am to 6pm, from Saturday, May 4 until Sunday, September 8.

Sarah Kingsley, North Herts Council's Service Director said: "We're excited to be coming into the splashpad season, we know they are popular throughout the district.

"We just hope we have some decent weather!"

It will be the council's first year running the kiosk at Howard Park in Letchworth, after deciding to bring it in house following a successful debut at Bancroft over in Hitchin.

Serving hot and cold soft drinks and light snacks including pastries, toasted paninis, and ice cream, you can take away or eat in. Dogs are also catered for with free dog treats on offer and water bowls - with the council explaining they will be managing both kiosks using their experience of running North Herts Museum café in Brand Street, Hitchin.

Sarah added: "Howard Park is a great place to welcome spring with a hot drink and perhaps a treat, whether you're taking the kids to the park or are just going for a walk."
