Home security fair being held in Royston

A free home safety and security fair is being held in Royston next month.

Members of the emergency services and security companies will be on hand to give advice on crime prevention and keeping your home safe at The Old Bull Inn, High Street on Wednesday 8 May from 10am to 2pm.

Royston Neighbourhood Policing Team PC Tom Woollard, who organised the day, said: "We'd like to see as many people as possible come along to the home safety and security fair. The reason for running the event is to educate members of the public about home safety and security, empowering them with the knowledge and confidence to access various products and services available to keep them safe in and around the home.

"Attendees can expect exhibitors from various departments within Herts Police, Herts Fire and Rescue Service and the East of England Ambulance Service, as well as companies providing CCTV and car, van and personal security advice."

The event is kindly being hosted at The Old Bull Inn, High Street, Royston where refreshments will be available for purchase
