There's not long now until Letchworth's outdoor pool re-opens for the summer - and as you can see work is gathering apace.

The outdoor pool, situated within the beautiful natural environment of Norton common, is set to open on Saturday, May 28 through to September 30.

The heated 50 metre pool is surrounded by a grassed sunbathing area, with a toddler pool also available.

Letchworth Outdoor Pool said: "Setting up the pool is a long process with lots of work behind the scenes.

"Currently we have stripped the old tiles right back in the toddler pool and are replacing them with shiny new mosaics."
