Plans have been submitted to build up to 900 homes near Graveley.

Housebuilder Croudace Homes have applied for planning permission to build 900 homes south of Graveley village.

The company lodged a submission with North Herts Council to develop a 42.7-hectare agricultural site, east of North Road.

The project includes provision to build a primary school and a neighbourhood centre and community facilities.

Nine plots are reserved for self-build homes, while the outline application includes a 40 per cent proportion of affordable homes.
