Entry for this year's Standalone 10k in Letchworth is now open.

The Standalone 10K is one of the biggest community events in the local area.

The eagerly-awaited run attracts plenty of excellent runners - but it is also so much more than that.

It's also a renowned community event in North Herts that is open to runners of all abilities.

Organisers say: "It's a great opportunity for you to not only test yourself and improve your personal best, but also to have a great morning out running with family, friends and neighbours."

So, whether you are racing to win one of the cash prizes, improve your own personal best or have a social run with your friends and family, you will have an outstanding and memorable morning with all of us at North Herts Road Runners.

The event is set to take place on Sunday, October 6
