Saturday, December 17 - 6pm to 7.30pm through Baldock, Letchworth and Hitchin

A date not to be missed! After its success last year, the Farmers on Christmas Lights Tour is back for 2022, bringing you a huge dose of festive cheer tractor-style a week before Christmas.

Over 100 tractors and farm vehicles covered in Christmas lights and decorations will once again be taking part, driving through Baldock, Letchworth and Hitchin in a sight that is sure to put a smile on the faces of everyone young and old. Thousands turned out on the streets to support the farmers last year and we know their return will be extremely popular!

Join Peepo the Parasaurolophus on a frosty, festive adventure and help us find the Santasaurus! 

Enter the jolly Jurassic and go on a Christmas exploration, meeting lots of fun and friendly dinos on the way.

Visitors will be welcomed into our rustic barn for a festive show featuring the Dino Babies, after which little ones will have the opportunity to enter our special barn grotto where they can choose a gift.

Robot is a small Christmas Decoration on a big adventure to find snow. A must see for all families this festive season.

Robot is a Christmas tree decoration who always ends up on the same side of the tree, facing away from the window. As such he has never seen the Snow. This Christmas he escapes from his storage box before the tree is decorated and journeys across Letchworth in search of the elusive Snow.

Song writing day at Letchworth Educational Settlement

Saturday 17th Dec from 10:00 to 17:00 -Cost £42, Tutor Charlie Pyne 

Let's mess around with songwriting and create some new material in just one day!

You will need an instrument – any instrument will do – voice / guitar / keyboard / bass / drums / saxophone / trumpet / flute / oboe etc. 

We will start together in one large group generating ideas for music and for words and will then move to working in small groups to take things further. We will aim to rehearse and share what we have made all in the single day! Suitable for all levels – from beginner to professional

Christmas Craft Fayre at Ickleford Village Hall and the proceeds will be given to the Make A Wish Foundation for critically Ill children. 

We have Santa visiting, as well as a raffle and a tombola too. 

The craft fair is also to promote the talents of our villagers as well as some local friends. This is a family /community gathering and we hope a wonderful atmosphere to celebrate the season and help with shopping needs as well. 

We really want to raise as much as we can for the children and their families especially at Christmas as well as help the local families the chance to see Santa here too. 

The event will be on Saturday, December 17 from 10am-4pm at Ickleford Village Hall.
