Baldock: Get set for Folk Around the Oak this Bank Holiday weekend

A popular music event is set to return this weekend in Baldock.

The renowned Folk Around the Oak, at the Orange Tree in Baldock will feature a raft of live acts, including Celtic Krystal, Tanglers Irregulars, Viv Lucas, Yolanda Gabriel, Kate Rice, Chris Wright, Ed Laroche and many more.

The iconic Brian Burke is one of the organisers and will be playing during the event.

Well-known Brian, who is also president of Letchworth Rugby Club told Nub News: "It will be a great afternoon of roots music from 130pm to 8pm, all on behalf of North and East Herts MND association, with a charity raffle and auction from sportsmen and women suffering from this terrible disease

"Great music, great venue, great cause," he added.

Admission is free, punters are asked to make a donation to charity on the day. There will also be a charity raffle.
