Work has begun on building 57 new homes in Letchworth.

Construction has started on the development on the the site of Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation's former offices at Foundation House in Icknield Way.

The project will see one and two-bedroom apartments built - with 31 apartments available for shared ownership and 26 allocated for social rent.

In total the development will see five apartment buildings, four storeys tall constructed. There will also be green space for residents.
