Stevenage drew 2-2 with Exeter at the Lamex on Saturday.
Elliott List's double earned Boro a point after a lively match with the Grecians.
The visitors went ahead when Sam Nombe slotted home his fourth goal in four games after George Ray fed the in-form striker.
Alex Revell's side levelled midway through the first half when Bruno Andrade played List in, who finished with aplomb past keeper Cameron Dawson.
Stevenage keeper Joseph Anang denied Alex Hartridge before the latter prevented List from scoring at the other end.
Exeter went ahead after the break when captain Matt Jay nodded past Anang after Josh Key's cross.
Exeter's Timothee Dieng hit the woodwork before List equalised to make it 2-2 on the hour mark.
List could have won it late on but volleyed over from close range.
Stevenage are 11th place in League Two, but are only four points off Sutton who occupy the final play-off spot in seventh.
