Letchworth acclaimed BID boss Richard Harbon hails Standalone 10k: Why not sign up to iconic race
Letchworth's acclaimed BID boss and passionate advocate Richard Harbon has hailed the iconic Standalone 10k.
The Standalone 10K is one of the biggest community events in the local area.
The eagerly-awaited run attracts plenty of excellent runners - but it is also so much more than that because it's also a renowned community event in North Herts that is open to runners of all abilities.
Race director Mr Harbon said: "Standalone 10k is a local race organised by a local running club for the last 37 years.
"Everyone in the club involved in the event gives their time for free. We do this to reduce the costs, give back to the local community and because we really enjoy it.
"This allows us to use the profit from the race to provide excellent affordable running for all, to donate to our club charity and subsidise club events from health and wellbeing walks to cross country.
"We hope to see you all at the race on October 6th. Spread the word to your family and friends. It would be great to see them there too."

You will get a times and measured course, a fully closed road, professional marshalling by club members, on-course entertainment, great facilities and food and drink stalls at Standalone Farm with easy access and plenty of parking.
NHH said: "In partnership with the Heritage Foundation, we want to make this year's race the greenest Standalone 10k event ever.
"So let's reduce the impact on the environment together by walking or cycling to the race on Standalone Farm.":
