Letchworth: Plans lodged for 157 new homes

A planning application for 157 new homes in Letchworth have been lodged with North Herts Council.

As Letchworth Nub News has previously reported, approval is requested by housing association Settle who wish to redevelop homes in Campfield Way, Highover Road and Icknield Way.

Plans for the new development include 157 new 'affordable' homes with a variety of one and five-bedroom apartments, terraced, semi-detached and detached houses.

The scheme is also set to provide fully accessible flats, houses and bungalows.

All properties will have access to an outdoor area via a private garden or balcony, along with provision for parking.

Nub News understands the planning application will soon be live on the North Herts Council website for residents to make their voice heard regarding the proposals.
