Letchworth Pancake Day Race
The eagerly awaited event has been set for Letchworth town centre on Tuesday, February 13.
Organised by the brilliant Love Letchworth, the team said: "Dust off your running shoes and join us for Letchworth Pancake Race.
"Everyone is invited! Businesses, children, passers-by."
Letchworth is looking forward to welcoming runners, friends and visitors. The duration of the event at Leys Avenue will be one hour between 11am and midday.
Pans and pancakes will be provided. Prizes for winners.

The first Craft & Farmers market of 2024
The Craft & Farmers Market returns to Letchworth town centre next month at Leys Square in the Arcade.
The renowned market runs in Letchworth town centre every third Saturday of the month and will return this year on Saturday, February 17.
The market will be running from 9am through until 3p and will feature plenty of crafters stalls along with top quality, fresh food, including bread, cheese, fresh fruit and veg - much of it locally sourced as far as possible

Manga is an umbrella term for a wide variety of comic books and graphic novels originally produced and published in Japan.
Letchworth Library on Broadway will be hosting the event.
They said: "We are so excited that Heba Rena Yassin Art will be running another free Manga workshop on Saturday, February 24 between 1030am and 1230pm.
"The workshop is aimed at ages 14-18, with all experience levels welcome."

Life Drawing at the Broadway Gallery
Join our friendly life drawing session! Each month you'll be assigned a fun activity aimed at challenging your approach to drawing and understanding the human figure. We welcome participants of all skill levels, providing an opportunity for skill-building, practice development, and even those trying life drawing for the first time!
Basic materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own. Easels are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

A Century of Swing with Down for the Count at Letchworth's Broadway Cinema
Get set for a raft of hit tunes coming to Letchworth soon.
Down for the Count All-Stars are regularly found at world-famous jazz clubs including Ronnie Scott's in London - and now they are heading to Broadway Cinema and Theatre on March 24 with their new show, A Century of Swing, bringing the informal yet sophisticated atmosphere of these clubs to theatres across the country.
Described as "one hellova celebration of vintage music" by TimeOut London, their show A Century of Swing breathes new life into some of the best music of the 20th Century, treating audiences to joyous instrumental solos and sublime vocal performances.
Audiences can expect to hear songs from the likes of Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, Count Basie and Glenn Miller, and classics from singers such as Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald and Nat 'King' Cole.

Beauty and The Beast

You are invited to step into the enchanted world of Disney's Beauty and the Beast, The Broadway Musical, produced in 37 countries worldwide and is based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature film, this stage version includes all of the wonderful songs written by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman. Including "Be our Guest" and of course the title song "Beauty and the Beast".
The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.
