There's not long now until our town's Christmas Lights switch on!
This exciting event will take place this weekend - will you be attending?
Organisers say: "This Saturday, across the town centre - entertainers, a market and a parade - Santa and elves!
"Enjoy extended opening in shops, cafes and bars into the evening."
The enjoyable, annual event for young and old in our town takes place on Saturday (November 26) between 11am and 7pm in Letchworth town centre. Christmas Light Switch On at 5pm

Baldock: Celebrate St Andrew's Day with Robin Campbell's Celtic MashUp Scottish Night
We have the excellent Robin Campbell with his MashUp band, giving us a real mixture of traditional and more contemporary songs with lots of opportunities to sing along on St Andrew's Day on Wednesday, November 30.
Also on the bill are The Tangler's Irregulars with some favourite Scottish ballads, and singer/songwriter Kevin Johnson, originating from Shetland.
So all in all, expect a right guid night of live songs and tunes from north of the border.
Free entry, but please bring some cash for our 'passing round the hat' to support the performers, and also for our legendary raffle!

The Friends of Garden House Hospice Christmas Fair returns on Sunday, December 11 to The Cloisters in Letchworth from midday until 430pm
With a wide range of different stalls selling everything from art and plants, to clothing and accessories, children's toys and wonderful gift ideas.
There will also be a raffle to win fabulous Christmas treats, fairground rides for the little ones and of course a visit from Santa himself!
Hot mulled wine and mince pies will be available throughout the day and, if you fancy a little more, hot food will also be served alongside a bar.
Why not pop along for a spot of Christmas shopping or something to treat yourself?
Garden House would be grateful for any donations to the hospice on entry.

A date not to be missed! After its success last year, the Farmers on Christmas Lights Tour is back for 2022, bringing you a huge dose of festive cheer tractor-style a week before Christmas.
Over 100 tractors and farm vehicles covered in Christmas lights and decorations will once again be taking part, driving through Baldock, Letchworth and Hitchin in a sight that is sure to put a smile on the faces of everyone young and old. Thousands turned out on the streets to support the farmers last year and we know their return will be extremely popular!

Christmas Craft Fayre at Ickleford Village Hall and the proceeds will be given to the Make A Wish Foundation for critically Ill children.
We have Santa visiting, as well as a raffle and a tombola too.
The craft fair is also to promote the talents of our villagers as well as some local friends. This is a family /community gathering and we hope a wonderful atmosphere to celebrate the season and help with shopping needs as well.
We really want to raise as much as we can for the children and their families especially at Christmas as well as help the local families the chance to see Santa here too.
The event will be on Saturday, December 17 from 10am-4pm at Ickleford Village Hall.
